Summer Camp Instructor Application

Employment Status: 10-20hrs per week // This position begins as early as June 2024
This is a temporary (Summer) position.

Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
- Lead art, craft, science, and other thematic lessons & activities
- Assist Sweet Yield team in dance and movement activities.
- Contribute to the positive and inclusive camp environment.
- Follow prepared lesson plans and resources for a seamless teaching experience.
- Guide Neighborhood Field Trips to Myriad Gardens and Oklahoma City Museum of Art
- Prep weekly supply lists (Curriculum is already written; prep includes prepping daily craft supplies, printing color sheets, etc.)

Qualifications:
- Passion for education and creating a positive camp experience
- Background in art education, dance education, or public education
- Ability to engage and inspire campers of various age groups
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic camp environment
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Sweet Yield Summer Camp Instructors must:
- Have Monday - Thursday, 8:30am-2:30pm Availability
- Have Reliable Transportation
- Exude Hospitality & Warmth to Studio Members
- Be capital R “Responsible” in actions and integrity
- LOVE children, families, and Oklahoma City

Compensation:
Training Session Rate: $30
Half Day Camp Rate: $45 per day
Full Day Camp Rate: $85 per day
