Who is it for?

GROWING Artists is designed for dancers who are passionate about pursuing dance at an advanced level, wish to explore both performance and teaching pathways, are committed to personal and artistic growth, and want to engage in a supportive and inspiring dance community. This program is for our Poppies, Rosebuds, and Wildflowers dancers.


Highlights

-Weekly Classes: Intensive dance and movement classes focusing on various styles and techniques.

-Weekly Lectures: Educational sessions covering dance history, health, and industry insights.

-Company Gatherings: Team hangouts to foster friendship and community spirit.

-Community Service Opportunities: Engaging in service projects as a team each semester.

-Performance Opportunities: Showcasing talents at community events and Sweet Yield recitals.

-Work Study Opportunities: Positions as studio classroom teaching assistants and studio interns.

-1:1 Mentorships: Personalized guidance from experienced mentors to support individual growth.


Program Requirements

-Enrollment in at least 2 Sweet Yield classes in addition to Growing Artists. Dancers must have a strong foundation of dance technique and ongoing training in multiple styles.

-Commitment to attend weekly classes and extra rehearsals when needed.

-Participation in community performances

-Mandatory Fall Convention attendance. All other convention opportunities are optional (additional fees may apply).
