2021 Summer Camps at Sweet Yield Studio
Can you believe it?! It’s that time of year where we begin looking forward to Summer - slow moments, long days, and sunshine on sunshine. We’ve been eagerly anticipating a magical Summer season more than years past and we have a hunch its because we’ve officially rounded the corner to March 2021. Our hearts are hopeful for healing and we are leaning into the promise of renewal the Summer sunshine will undoubtedly bring. After a cold winter season of being indoors and virtual school fatigue we are ready to usher in a new season of outdoor play, social connection, and creative healing!
As a team of educators, our staff members know the toll this virtual year has taken on our kiddos socially, mentally, and developmentally. We understand the depth of need for safe social reconnection, igniting of creativity, and happy spaces for our kiddos to explore and grow with their friends, new and old, again. With that in mind, we’ve dreamed up a magical lineup of Summer Camps and experiences for every kind of interest. We are SO excited to spend Summer 2021 with you and yours!
And one more thing….
We’ve made it SO easy to choose a camp experience that works perfectly with your Summer schedule. Each camp includes a two or four day attendance option AND a half day or full day option. Choose between Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, or Monday through Thursday from 9:00-11:30am or 9:00-2:00pm!
Here’s what we have in store…
June 14th - 17th for Ages 6-12 Years
We are so excited for our new, artist-inspired camp! Each day will feature a brilliant artist whom we will study all about. Your kiddo will learn about their work, method, and mediums and create their own art pieces mimicking their styles. Complete with trips to the Oklahoma Museum of Art and walks to the Myriad Gardens to observe and create, this week is perfect for the little artist and dreamer in your family.
June 21st - 24th for Ages 4-8 Years | NEW Week Added
We can’t wait for this garden-inspired nature camp! Each day your kiddo will discover and learn all about the little bees and bugs that call gardens their home. Using Sweet Yield as our home base, we’ll explore the world around us through art, crafts, movement, and nature play. We will take this knowledge and connect it to real-life experience through field trips to community nature spaces like the Myriad Gardens. We’ve also invited guest teachers who will come and share the wonders of how they cultivate their own gardens through growing food and caring for garden friends (buzz, buzz) of their own.
July 12th - 15th for Ages 3-5 Years
Join us this summer for a fairy friends dance camp! Each day your kiddo will ignite their imagination in the magical world of fairytales through a new lens of art, movement, storytelling, and creativity. They’ll create and dance in fairy wings, use their magic wands to create new possibilities, and even celebrate the week with a royal ball. We can’t wait for our little friends to experience this enchanted and inspiring week!
July 19th - 22nd for Ages 4-12 Years
Join us this summer for our signature Sweet Yield Magic Summer Camp! A magical four days of all things Sweet Yield including art, dance, creativity, and play. Each day your kiddo will experience a creativity class, dance class, movement class, and outdoor play. Including trips and picnics at Myriad Gardens.
Magical moments await sweet one! If you’re unable to join us for a Summer Camp be on the lookout for our one-day Summer Workshops for ages 4-18 years coming soon.
